Pros

Not sure if there is a best reason.

Cons

Take your pick. I have worked here enough years to see when we actually hired educated bankers to now where we are recruiting from Starbucks. I was shocked when I had to coach a new banker that was recruited from Starbucks with no financial experience and in his first year of college. Prior to working the Bank One method, we made a lot of money in sales incentives, I had 200K in total compensation before the change. Now the plan gets cut down every few months when they change their focus or see ease in a product- new money was not easy, we were paid double the incentive for new money and investments before. Now, we are pushing nonsense items that annoy the customer.

Pros

Strong company name, good benefits.

Cons

Politics, favoritism, like lots of big corporations, they do not know how to appreciate hard working employees, or those who are actually performing the work above standards to keep the company in business. From what I experienced, only brown-nosier need to apply here. Mid-Management actually tries to bury employ complaints about their favorite lower management employees, and HR helps hiding those complaints.
