The transition from Corp IT to Sales/Security Engineer has been great. A lot of training upfront to learn Check Point Software Product line. Great support from teammates and management.

Cons

As a newer employee, I have yet to come across any items that stick out.

Pros

Peers and local US Leadership is great. Training opportunities are abundant. Good work life balance, and company has handled COVID very well. Maybe a bit over-conservative, but probably the right call when dealing with people's health and well-being. Decent 401k matching and Employee Stock Program, as well as financial wellness programs/webinars to help employees in that area. Well respected name in Cyber and Leader in many areas. Many new initiatives and Products that seem promising. Breadth of Portfolio is impressive. Infinity ELA program could be a game changer, when and if, it takes off. Exciting things look to be brewing…

Cons

Too conservative, which could be hindering overall growth. Marketing could be better. Pay is below market average, and annual merit increases are low and not guaranteed. Takes time to understand the Culture and process of doing Business. Way of doing things could be more streamlined and less kludgy. Technology is solid, GTM strategy and local support is lacking.

Pros

Good work environment, flexible schedule, team effort, no back-biting, focused on the customer and product quality. ESPP, RSU, very nice offices, ability to work full time from home, a lot of diversity in the company employees. The company is very stable, and does not fire employees in times of crisis.

Cons

We're growing our solution portfolio at an incredible pace, sometimes it's hard to keep up.
