      Pros

      I really enjoy the benefits and comradery at Check Point. I also enjoy that this does not feel like a job so much as it's a part of my life (doesn't feel like a slog,) so I do enjoy my work for the most part.

      Cons

      I feel like the product code is really buggy and the management forces a large understanding of the product with what I would consider skeleton crews. This can make the workload seem unbearable at times when your working service requests.

      Pros

      Checkpoint has great people. They value us as employees and everyone is treated with respect. The benefits are good and the pay, while not top-tier, is competitive. In sales, we are given some autonomy to run our book of business.

      Cons

      Micro management. As a tech company, they want to monitor your meetings, calls, emails, and how many times you cough! I get it but either trust your people or don't. It can be annoying at times.

      Pros

      Our management structure on the sales engineering side is really good to work for. Pay is mostly competitive in Boston. Benefits are good, especially 4 weeks accrued PTO. We actually get to use it as well. Sales counterparts are good overall and cooperative. Decent amount of opportunity to move around different positions and specialties within the sales org in addition to other positions in different departments.

      Cons

      R&D drives the decisions and the direction, which sometimes is hard to understand and challenging to explain those decisions to customers of why we did/did not include features in our products. Getting R&D support can be challenging in the US at times due to time zones.
