Pros

Great product with some caveats - passionate development team.Difficult to make a good salary here ($200k+) for experienced sales professionals but great for young guns looking to get a start in the security world. Expect to make around $150k annum. Good Health plan.

Cons

Unfortunately this company does not have it's customers best interests at heart. The internal push is to get new customers and upsell to existing regardless of fit. Difficult to build long term loyalty with this approach.

Pros

Mid-level Management is great, but not empowered. All decisions still come from Tel Aviv.

Cons

The Senior Management team in Israel is totally disconnected from the way that IT does business in the US. The Channel program is broken, field marketing budget is non-existent, and Tech Support for customers is terrible. The VP of Sales in the US still operates like it's 1992.

Pros

Check Point Software has very strong offering in the Network Security space. They offer the most robust Firewall appliances in the market and is well know for delivering a high quality of performance.

Cons

There was a phase of growth within my department where hiring was very questionable. The department should have grown at the right pace and with the right people. Pay is not competitive compared to other established Silicon Valley Companies.
