Pros

My management team was very good at distributing information, getting us time off when needed, they stayed out of your business as long as you were meeting deadlines and being productive. Benefit package was pretty good, but my experience is in company's with less than 50 people.

Cons

Same old work day after day, nothing really new and exciting. It is a grind, the company is always talking about how poorly we were doing in the market and makes you worry about if you are going to have your job. My management reassured our department was safe, but still makes you worry.

Pros

The many high-quality, hard-working teammates in locations all around the world. Global presence in a growing Industry. Brand recognition and a reputation for quality.

Cons

Positions are routinely merged, and budgets cut too deep, leaving departments without the resources required to service our customers. Decisions regarding field support, ERP systems, training, and customer service are seemingly made in a vacuum by myopic and arrogant senior management. Significant losses of both customers and employees have been the result. The focus on printing and RFID has been a major distraction to the core business - and the lack of reinvestment in those core areas has caused us to fall behind.

Pros

Support (Engineers, IT, customer service) really work to help facilitate sales. "Family" environment with long-term employees. Leading-edge products and solutions.

Cons

With reduction in workfoce (20%) most experience customer service and IT people were either laid-off or left in late 2011. This leaves a mixed group of very competent, experienced managers and workers mixed with low-cost new hires who can't support sales. Mfg. plants try but you can only produce so much with minimal workers. Production always behind so majority of time spent explaining late deliveries. Lack of communication from upper management leaves clients feeling neglected. MBO's convuluted, not achievable and commissions cut without notice negating achievements. Lower pay with a 30% increase in sales???
