Pros

- Even though the growth is fast and significant, it is clear leadership has and will continue to put an emphasis on the people here, and what is needed to maintain their happiness and work ethic - There is a serious sense of mission (actually adhering to and living by our mission statement and values) that employees are proud to showcase. This was one of the reasons I decided to accept my offer with Checkr, and I love love love it. - Even if there are problems or issues that need to be fixed, people feel open and able to speak to their peers, leadership, HR (which by the way, there is a dedicated resource for each person/team), etc. Transparency is an actual thing! - There is diversity, which seems like it would be obvious here in the Bay Area but it is actually still fairly unusual. I am so proud to see so many different people, from all over the world, and learn from their experiences. (SO MANY INTELLIGENT PEOPLE!) We also practice what we preach, and practice fair chance hiring. - The interview and applicant process was by far, the absolute best I have ever experienced. And, now working here, I can say all the expectations provided to me were honest, and in some cases, better than described! - Great work and workers are recognized, and there are multiple outlets in which to give kudos to others - Leadership has not lost sight of the small details, and still invest time to meet with new hires, sit on customer meetings, and generally learn what the individual contributors challenges are - Feedback is request and received in a constructive and professional manner - On a more tactical level, there are commuter benefits, gym on-site and reimbursement, professional development investments, meals provided, amazing team events, and There's lots more!! - You are encouraged to be part of the solution, and are awarded the opportunity to work on projects that don't necessarily directly align with your role.

Cons

- On-boarding can use some attention and work, but with any start-up, you just have to dive in head first.

Pros

Being part of this company has been truly rewarding. There is so much to do and the high accountability environment keeps you challenged. It feels great to be working towards the same goal with some amazingly talented and smart people. The culture and the perks make it hard not to come to work. The company invests heavily in their people as well as their technology to ensure a great experience for both the internal teams and the client. Another big plus is the company's mission and the outreach/work it does with people coming out of prison or trying to get back on their feet.

Cons

With explosive growth, you have to be resourceful and quick on your feet. The answers aren't always easy to find and sometimes there may not be a formal process to something, but there's always someone you can ask or lean on for help.
