Great culture and values and a rocketship of growth

Pros

- The core values aren't just a thing here, we live them and breathe them. Execs support them. It's a vital part of who we are. - Mission driven - It's not just about doing things quicker and cheaper. It's about supporting data accuracy and fairness and helping to ensure everyone in this country has the right to earn a living - Great people - I've never worked with such an engaged group of people who genuinely care about the company as a whole, as much as Checkrs do. - Revenue growth and trajectory are rocketship quality. 3 yrs in, close to $200mill in revenue and profitable - that's an amazing point to be so quickly - VCs love us. All I ever hear is how much they want to be involved with us.

Cons

- It's a start up that's growing. You gotta be scrappy, low ego and not above doing anything. (Including washing your own dish) - Benefits aren't terrible, but aren't top of market either - The bar of success is high. Lots of great people who want to do their best, which means not a lot of room to hide if you're a loafer.

Hard work but worth it

Pros

After being with this company for a few years, I've seen it grow and go through a lot. In the end, we're being thoughtful about our growth and scaling wisely. Benefits are numerous and generous, the culture and core values are more than just a poster on the wall, and hard work is really recognized.

Cons

Be ready for a higher bar than most companies. Your best is meeting expectations here. Many people can't keep up. Management will disregard suggestions from people with more experience than them at times, which can be frustrating, especially when we see failings in those areas later on.
