Pros

You get to work for a company that helps the people that need it the most.

Cons

Company is moving from family owned/managed to corporate and bringing the worst practices of corporate america, anything to cut costs so they have recently remove benefits from associates, refused to pay bonuses, and laid off 300 people right before the holidays. The new management lacks charisma, compassion and empathy.

Pros

Helping the poorest and sickest patients. That also comes with many cons.

Cons

One of the worst places I’ve ever worked. Owners only care about profits and money. So much so they have 12 million dollar mansions and a private jet, all at your expense and mental health. Grow your center at any means possible. I mean any. The leadership is condescending with no clear support or direction. They want to talk you to death about what to do. Just talk, especially in the broward palm beach locations. Horrible. Doctors get put on PIPs for having too many hospitalizations for their patients …that is really tasteless and inconsiderate, especially given the locations where the patients are served, some of the most dangerous locations where stores get robbed during the day. Sales folks come and go at a rapid pace, the turnover of staff in this company is striking and disgusting. Once you do leave, they slap you with a nasty non compete which makes it very difficult to find work doing the same role for almost 2 years. You’re not the alpha or the omega of healthcare, not even close.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experiences at ChenMed. We appreciate your kind remarks on breaking down barriers to healthcare for seniors in need. As a results driven organization, we rely heavily on data to meet the demand nationally for our services, and conduct periodic surveys on a minimum of a quarterly basis. All onboarding requirements are presented prior to an employee’s commencement and must be signed as a condition of employment. If you would like to share specific feedback, please reach out to employeerelations@chenmed.com.
