Pros

Closed on Sundays. Company without long-term debt. A company with HIGH moral values and a GREAT reputation in the community and the industry. Interim Managers are given full health benefits and almost all expenses are paid. Operators and Home Office Staff are genuinely nice people. Good team members are a little easier to find because we have less turnover than the industry.

Cons

LONG hours. You are working for the opportunity to own/operate your own location. Can and will be sent anywhere on NO notice whatsoever. Lack of feedback from the Business Consultants who serve as your boss. Lack of feedback from the people in HR who are selecting Operators. Lots of talking in circles with no clear answers or directions. No definition of what a "good job" looks like or what our primary and secondary objectives are. Possibility (reality for some) of being on the road literally months on end without getting to travel home.

Pros

Nice bosses, Sundays off, fair pay for fast food, fun employees to work with, take occasional team buliding trips that are fun, will work around your schedule if you are a student or an athlete, can work there starting at a young age, Christian focused, very focused on the customer and meeting the customer service needs every time

Cons

lots of cleaning as with any fast food job, hours typically include later nights, can be understaffed at certain times of the day, lots of turn over with younger employees, need to hire more people so that shifts are not understaffed at times,

Pros

Chick-fil-A has many upsides. Some of the rules are dependent on what the operator sees fit. My operator allowed free drinks while working and a meal for a dollar on the days you work. After two years of employment, your meal was free. It can be a very fast-paced environment. They have opportunities for you to move up through the company and even become part of corporate office or own your own store. It is a nice family environment that has a lot of repeat customers. Many of the customers have become like family to me.

Cons

Favorites can be chosen which will help determine how quickly you will be promoted. The work can get very frustrating due to some rude customers and sometimes bitter employees.
