Pros

Pay is good. Many opportunities to move within the company. Benefits available for part time employees. The company employs very competent people.

Cons

Employee turnover is high. When a clinic is short 2-4 staff members for over a year and the remaining employees are under pressure to keep up and do, they believe that clinic does not need to be fully staffed because they busted their hind ends off to get the job done. Administration is out of touch with what happens within the clinics and continue to add more responsibilities to the employees without providing additional staff.

Pros

The RT Department Manager and leadership was amazing! They ran a great department and created a great work environment.

Cons

This hospital is 100% Nursing driven. If you are a clinical employee and are not a Nurse, be prepared to be treated like a janitor. Respiratory Therapists are not respected for their education and expertise here. in recent history this was even worse than it was when I left, but the hospital still has a long ways to go. Also, Nursing Leadership and Physicians need to get rid of the small town attitudes and "we've always done it this way" mentalities. Lastly, I took a 10% pay-cut when I started here. They have never been competitive for wages, even after they increased wages due to market adjustments. After our wage bumps, we were still 5-10% below average.
