Pros

Hard working crew although they are under paid and not appreciated

Cons

Food safety issues still exist Upper management is not connected to operations. Far too many people live in the past of the "Glory days" Most leaders do not know what they are doing and do not care about crew or the right way tonthings A lot of employees leaders believe the food is special. It is not.

Pros

You learn a lot about communicating and working as team to make a shift go smoothly. If you work at busy store like I do, it's a great way to get some exposure to working in a fast-paced environment and multitasking. It's also a great gig for students because of the tuition reimbursement they offer and because you get a free meal when you work a shift. There are opportunities to move up and learn other positions if you take initiative and let management know that you want that.

Cons

I think there's a lot of pressure on management from corporate and it affects the crew members because we need to adapt to these ever changing policies. Policies and rules can be unclear. You might be doing something the way you were taught during your training and then one day management will call you out saying that it's improper procedure. It also feels like managers are always changing, as I've had 4 different GM's in the past year. Unfortunately, they aren't doing well at placing managers in a store that they fit into.

Pros

Free food every shift you work, half off one meal per day. Tuition assistance is possible but from what I've heard not very reliable.

Cons

It didn't take me long to decide this place wasn't for me. They scheduled people out of their availability and expected them to either show up or find a cover. You're supposed to have a 30 minute break if you work 7 or more hours but that doesn't happen. You MIGHT get 10 minutes to scarf down some food and get back to work. I had co-workers in their 20's complaining about arthritis from working here for like 2 years. The place is hard on your hands, your back, and your skin (deep fryer). It's almost always short staffed. I've had many many shifts in my short time there where there was supposed to be 5-8 people there but there were only 3. Maybe because of people being scheduled out of their availability. Needless to say it didn't take long to start looking elsewhere for a job.
