Pros

Good pay Great co-workers Fast paced

Cons

Management isn't reprimanded for having sex with employees and helping them get a promotion later. When there are qualified people to move into a management position they are usually passed over due to friends helping friends or sexual relationships. The CEO seems to care more for pretty women and refugees. Many people lose out on the jobs they are qualified for due to this. Their use of temps is horrific as far as always dangling the opportunity for a full time job and then hiring from outside the temp pool. I pay way to much for insurance on a weekly basis. I got the full package and o still feel lacking on coverage.

Pros

You get free yogurt at all offices (but you aren't allowed to take even one home).

Cons

Chobani has become a place, like any large corporation, where the employees mean nothing and external image is more important than internal treatment. An egregious amount of money can be spent on events, marketing, travel for employees that don't even need to be on a trip, yet not on employee retention. Culture is something they pretend to have, but spend a month in any of the offices/plants and you'll realize that it is all talk and never any action. And forget about advancement because 9/10 times, someone will be hired externally. If you have a killer internal creative department, why hire external help? You have true artists working only on packaging. Equality among peers seems to be a constant struggle. Professionalism is missing company wide, and respect is non-existent. It is appalling to see how executive assistants are treated. Do you think they enjoy making meals for grown men for a living? Or being snapped at? Or yelled at publicly? If humility is the key to success, then arrogance is the key to Chobani. When you take a moment to read through these reviews, you'll notice a few gems. You'd be disheartened to know that a few of those were written by people who were asked by HR to write those in order to boost this rating. This company has built an external image of transparency. Yet, on the inside secrets, favoritism, questionable behavior, and lies cloud the glass walls holding up the glass building. Companies who build glass houses... Actually, Chobani is transparent. Hopefully you can see through the lies.

Pros

In the beginning, it was great - dynamic, vision-driven, and human. I met some fantastic, amazingly competent individuals, all of who are unfortunately no longer there.

Cons

When I started at Chobani, there was a vision to do things differently and do things right, to be a different kind of CPG company. Shortly after, things changed. The vision was lost, market share and revenue superseded everything else. There's nothing wrong with wanting to make money, but when it is the only objective, it's not a good experience or bright future. The Chobani difference is fading fast. The goal now seems to become another Dannon or Yoplait. Leadership (CEO and CMO in particular) is very unprofessional, ego-driven, and disconnected from employees and consumers. A major recent re-org laid off all the early hires and departments that made Chobani successful. In their place, came people from big uninspiring CPGs - welcome to the future of Chobani. It had such potential and it is sad to see it go this way.
