Free lunch - tasty salads! Fair pay. Set schedule (in my experience at least). Friendly co-workers and management. I really enjoyed helping customers figure out what to order if they were first-timers. Benefits.

Cons

Hands-off training - I practically trained myself on everything. Management lacked direction some days and that kind of led to a lot of disorganization during our shifts, making us a bit frantic and chaotic. Rude customers.

It makes us glad to read that you have had a positive experience and found our pay fair, food tasty and teams fun. We pride ourselves on these things. Additionally, we want to share that we are revamping our training programs so that no one every feels that they are "going it alone" or having to train themselves. We are also investing more into our management development so that our managers have the tools they need to provide the direction and organization our team members look for and rely on. Clean. The food and ingredients are actually good quality. The flavor profiles and salads are spots on. Scheduling was actually pretty flexible most of the time. Pretty laid-back and chill place when not busy. Only ever had issues with one specific supervisor. Depending on who was managing/supervising it could actually be a chill and fun place to work at times.

Cons

Substandard Pay. Management at my store was a complete ego-driven mess. Sneaky and secretive about pay and raises between employees, which is a bad idea in such a close work environment. Expected high turnover of any food service job, but the pay was also markedly lower than stores in the same shopping center. Customers were usually chill but if there is a bad/ aggressive customer management will be of no help and will usually leave you to deal with it alone. Side work is about 50% of this job as there are so many ingredients that could be added to salads. If you're not constantly doing side work management will use this as a reason to not give you a raise come the next review. It's also very easy to not have multiple ingredients as there are so many and ordering needs to be done correctly which it rarely is. So we always were out of at least 1 item. I can only speak for the store I worked but subpar management directly caused at least 80% of the issues at this store which was otherwise a calm and laid-back place to work.
