      Pros

      Solid 403b, and benefits, management had roles defined well, remote work, pto was good.

      Cons

      Too long of hours, on call expectations too high, expected to perform normal operating hours on top of working through the night, endless projects and public shaming if you said or did the wrong thing. Some of my team was expected to carry the whole load while others were allowed to get by with doing nothing all day or having no expectations.

      Wide variety of areas to work in on both hospital and physician side

      Cons

      Expectations exceed agreed upon scope of work Expectations include working outside scope of practice including some illegal/fraudulent activities Physicians determine your longevity as a nurse - can and will refuse to work with you for something as minuscule as not liking how you look, HR supports this to appease the physicians regardless of your own performance Poor management on all levels, very rare to find manager who is invested in you AND willing to advocate for employees Pay is low, HR not open to much negotiation Benefits are mediocre, especially PTO and tuition reimbursement rate/agreement
