Improved patient satisfaction due to improving technological advancements within Epic software sytems

Cons

As of lately there has been major changes in upper administration and lack thereof. The after effect is creating tumultuous affects for teams specifically within IT. Company culture is non-existent and the focus is on $$$. There is zero engagement with management in developing their teams which is HUGE when it comes to day to day work satisfaction. Sadly, I have seen this decline over the past three years. If they don't make changes they will be losing a huge pool of skilled talent.

The benefits were decent. I liked my coworkers.

Cons

NO support from management from your direct report all the way up the chain. No money for replacement hardware, direct report manager always in meetings so I rarely saw either one. Unrealistic expectations of supporting 125 locations, being on call AND building a new location every other week. VERY Stressful and inconsistent pay range. Oh, and no chance for advancement but plenty of chances for more work and responsibilities.
