Pros

Only the culture of the company was good

Cons

People are pretentious, snotty and full of themselves. Everyone there was fake. There is no one to train you, you have to figure it out for yourself and it always came back to bite you. No support from management or your direct team. The pay was horrible for all you had to do. God bless anyone who wants to go work there. Thank god I left. Ugh!!

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are really pleased to hear that you approve of the CEO and that you felt that the company culture is good. We are really sorry that you have not had a good experience working at Christie’s, this doesn’t reflect the usual feedback we receive from current / former employees.

Pros

One of the best places to work in this field, and you will work with brilliant, passionate people.

Cons

Salary is not competitive and promotion is very infrequent across all departments. Employees outside of specialist departments are often overlooked and left behind.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We are really pleased to hear that you would recommend working here and you work alongside brilliant and passionate colleagues. Christie’s aims to pay in the highest quartile in our sector, and also provide a compelling total compensation package. Christie’s has a strong track record of promoting from within. But we acknowledge that supporting non-revenue generating departments do not get as much recognition as they deserve.

Pros

Great to have a legacy house on your resume. Definitely fast pace and lively.

Cons

Everyone is looking out for themselves. A lot of learning and training is done on your own time. Relationships between departments and operations feel strained and there is an obvious lack of communication between lines of buisness.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Christie’s is unique and we believe that our employees primarily learn on the job. However, we have recently strengthened our L&D team globally and have launched a global L&D offering which covers multiple training opportunities. Furthermore by nature, we are a fast-paced company and as sales are seasonal, volumes of workload will vary and communication between departments may feel strained at times, however we feel that this can be the case in any profession with key deadlines. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed working in our fast-paced and lively environment and that you would recommend working here.
