Good intentions, poor execution

Pros

High quality product that sells itself. Sales team has input in editorial direction and acquisitions. Collaborative team environment and opportunity to understand all aspects of publishing. Profit share and bonus structure in place. Smart, wonderful people and a fun office culture.

Cons

Very slow to understand and implement DEI initiatives. Pay is below average for industry standard. Values outside experience over internal. Bonus is paid out annually. Growth opportunities are limited.

Thanks for your feedback, especially about our need to get even better about encouraging long-term employees to reach out to our newer team members. We're addressing this through quarterly New Employee Meet & Greets and, of course, our long-standing company picnic, holiday party, and Pop-up Happy Hours.
