Pros

I was rehired after being out of the state for several years. Not only was Chrysalis my first call upon return, but they actually remembered me. Although it is a growing company, it still feels like a family. I'm able to receive the support I need, continue learning/growing, and opportunities to fuel your area of passion are provided. I could not imagine myself working anywhere else.

Cons

When choosing to work in the mental health field, we sign up for high. It truly is a labor of love. Thankfully self-care is prioritized and having an open door policy with co-workers who are willing to help you out makes it easier.

Pros

The support is tremendous (personal experience). Willingness of my director to understand, show empathy, meet demands and needs, response time is excellent (calls, texts, emails, crisis situations), and accommodating many variables--indescribable. As well as having your back and putting themselves out there means a lot; you do not feel alone. Flexibility is also a major factor, especially being a single mom with health issues.

Cons

Inconsistency with clients and continuous cancellations (nothing to do with the company). No paid holidays.

Now that Telehealth Services are so prevalent, we hope you are experiencing minimal cancellations or at the least able to replace quickly a session a client cancel. We do not have separately paid holiday as it is all part of our PTO bucket and folks can take off the holidays they wish to honor and celebrate. We all have different needs and diverse cultures so this seems to work the best for us.
