Yet another reduction in force occurred last week (RIF). Most recently non-billable roles have been targeted, but that does not mean the work being performed simply vanishes. Instead - all of it lands on the plates of those still employed. Ciber over commits and under estimates, thus leading to problems meeting financial targets at the project and corporate levels. Bottom line impacts are passed along in the form of jobs moved offshore, RIFs, lack of salary increases, and reduced bonus availability. Leadership claims to have a plan, but all the workers see is more work with fewer people to do it all and a reward structure that is not aligned with expectations.

The leadership act like tyrants. The new executive team has made the culture so much worse than it has been in the past 12 years I have been here. The new executive team has no experience in the staffing or software, application, ERP business - only infrastructure. Leadership is focused on giant comp plans for bringing in their friends. There is no focus on consultants or clients and zero follow up on promises from Michael or Tina. Tina is running the company and is ADD as they come. Michael and Tina can be motivating when they speak but they haven't done anything they said they would do for people at my level that work with clients everyday and aren't seen at the ivory tower. The latest iteration of change is making Ciber WORSE and NOT better.
