      Going downhill fast

      Pros

      Telecommute flexibility and work-life balance is decent.

      Cons

      If you're non-billable, fear for your job (unless you're in the upper echelon). A lot of work being siphoned off to India at a cheaper rate. Bonuses delayed, only partially-paid, or not paid at all. Constant re-orgs, executive and leadership turnover and mass lay-offs. Zero loyalty, no matter how long you've been employed with the company. No raises, year after year after year. "Unlimited PTO" is a joke. Those in higher positions of power who basically do little retain their high-paying positions while the true workhorses lose their jobs.

      Pros

      I think the exec management team is determined to improve the company's offerings and reputation. They certainly can't share everything with their employees as to strategy, but I like most of the changes over the past 2 years. Stock price is tumbling at the moment, but I'm hoping it's just reaction to not turning things around as fast as the investment community would like.

      Cons

      It's hard not to be nervous about the long-term prospects at Ciber. Execution of vision, at least thus far, has been lackluster. I'm hopeful that we are on the right course, but not convinced of it.
