Pros

Your employment experience at CIBER will depend on which branch office you work for and whether you have a good client. CIBER is run as a loosely coupled grouping of local offices, so if the local leadership is good than you will have a good experience.

Cons

Compensation is at low end of market or below market. Company sells itself as a strategic IT consulting firm but operates like a staff augmentation vendor. CIBER does not carry a bench, so if your project ends you are terminated.

Pretty stable company with decent benifits, and above average salaries. Nice reputation.

Cons

Remote management makes it hard to get your plight heard...be it visa issues or holiday approval...u need 4-5 emails with increasing tone to be heard.
