Pros

If you are a good bargainer, then this is the place for you. Very good packages for those who bargain or who can convince the higher management.

Cons

No vision for an employer. You will be as long as the project is there. One the project is gone, there is no backup plan. Company is good but you need to bargain. Proving you capabilities and assuming that your work speaks what you are, does not work in this company. Recognizing based on the work done is not part of this company. You need to strive for your own recognizance. Higher management and senior people are from ages in the same company, so lots of favoritism. Not a place for short time player.

There are growth opportunities available to everyone in every field. Training and career development are taken very seriously by management.

Cons

As with any job, there is uncertainty regarding future employment. When you are a consultant, your employment is only "guaranteed" while the contract is in place.

Pros

Large company with many resources. Some bright people. I felt I had great coworkers for the most part.

Cons

A bit of an environment backstabbing office politics, which was usually started by the general manager. No clear direction on pursuing new markets - usually gave up when the going got too tough.
