Name recognition, decent benefits, hourly not salary.

Cons

Month end can be a stressful period, but followed by more down time. Less analytical and more repetitive once exposed to the majority of what you do.

If you have good thoughts about relevant projects and don't think you are being heard, I encourage you to set a meeting with your MD to see what is possible to implement. My experience is that management is always open to good ideas.

What competencies and skills do you need to improve or get before you would be considered for a promotion? 3. Ask what is a reasonable time frame to expect to be considered. 4. Continue to develop your technical abilities and demonstrate your supervisory /coaching skills so that you are ready when the opportunity arises.
