      Extremely Frustrated - High Sales Pressure, No Opportunity to make sales

      Pros

      As a customer, one of the top 3 to bank with. Branches everywhere, open 7 days a week. If you have a background in retail (Dept stores, malls) and you like it, retail banking (in branch) may be for you. If you can make it through a year of high pressure, definitely room to grow with internal departments.

      Cons

      Retail banking literally mirrors any "retail" job (Department Store, clothing stores, the mall) The universal banker program is horrible. One is expected to meet high sales goals but never allowed time to prospect for sales because one is always stuck on the teller line due to short staffing.

      -Flexible work schedules, but long hours. Depends completely on where you work and what your job is -Great, talented people

      Cons

      Poor management on many levels. Since going public, too much focus on building shareholder value, often at the expense of the customer.
