Politics from upper management. Work Life Balance is horrible. Moving between branches for coverage. Hours are long. Lack of being able to take sufficient breaks. Favoritism is a big concern with management. Pay is terrible. Management is hired in without ANY banking experience resulting in poor management. New hires will 100% make much much more than you for pay. (you will have to train and assist these employees, and are expected to help onboard them) Very inconsistent practice of banking policies / rules and regulations. Different locations practice differently. Customers are usually upset because of super high turnover rate with employees and inconsistent practices of banking. Goals from quarter to quarter get harder to achieve because the incentive structure changes every quarter. ( change for the worst )

It’s never good enough. They tend to favor men, never got lunch breaks. They are a high pressure bank, they are only in it for the profits. They don’t care if you have 4 checking accounts else where, they need you to open one for them. They want tellers to probe the transaction so we can get in there business. They want customers to use their crappy ATM’s instead of the teller. They make you call the same customer over and over and then switch it to a different branch so they can do they same thing. They have turned into the Macy’s perfume counter sales. The online banking experience is by far the worst on the planet. My advise is to run!
