Always busy so it's never boring. You can get extra hours most of the time. Nice coworkers. Flexible schedule except during the holidays.

Cons

Low pay. Physically demanding work on your feet all day. You have to work there more than a year before you can get benefits.

Pros

The best part of working at City Market was the interaction with your co-workers. Most of the employees had a team-oriented attitude and would help each other to get the task done. Being a new employee, almost all fellow peers contributed to helping train the new team member.

Cons

Every store is different, but the pay for the amount of work was harsh. Paying employees so little meant a very high turnover rate so when you thought you trained someone to do the job, they would up and quit. The amount of work management expects from you and the way you are treated wasn't that great. Again, every store is different, different managers and supervisors
