The scheduling system is fine but I think would be more efficient if there was a 4 day work week option since it would make things easier for some of us. I prefer slightly less hours than some but more often than not I have no choice but to have 5 to 10 hours more than what I prefer since I still have low level seniority. This makes my work/life balance challenging at times. I'm not sure that it's a "con" for the company unless there is a better way to meet the needs of their employees.
My other complaint is that we're not allowed to carry a water bottle on us. It would help save time if we could, especially for when we're on cart duty and the weather is warm. They never say don't get a drink of water and if anything, they encourage hydration. But it takes time to do so and would be more efficient if we simply were allowed to carry a water bottle with us.
