City & Guilds has a fantastic purpose and dedicated and hard working staff who for the most part are committed to the business.

Cons

Lacks a clear strategy, flighty. Arrogant and needs to focus more on listening to customers and understanding their needs. Thinks it's a big company and it isn't.

Great support network in place, hard work is recognised. Great people to work with. They value opportunities for Work Experience and Apprenticeships through out IT.

A charity that generates its own surplus by running commercial business units - we have the best of both worlds from the private and third sector. We are all about improving skills for economic growth -one of the biggest challenges facing society today. International reach. Great track record of growth. Fast-paced and dynamic. Not too big to make things happen quickly.

Cons

It can be difficult sometimes for staff in different business areas to work together as effectively as they could to unlock shared opportunities for growth. This is a common challenge with business-unit structures so we aren't unique here but it can slow things down sometimes.
