In recent months, there has been a noticeable increase in the departure of women of colour from ELT/SLT positions within the organisation. These individuals were respected leaders with strong credentials, and several have since moved into more senior roles elsewhere. No internal communication or acknowledgement around these key departures, which creates a sense of silence and avoidance rather than transparency. Executive and Senior Leadership Teams remain overwhelmingly white, and visible disparities in pay and career progression between white colleagues and people of colour still persist. Disconnect between the organisation’s external diversity messaging and the lived internal experience for underrepresented groups.
