      Pros

      Strong customer base and market presence in local government. Casual dress code and free pop if that is important in your career.

      Cons

      Focus on short term fix over quality product. Churn and burn environment. A lot of experiments that have resulted in disengaging employees. Lack of focus on current and future clients that has been noticed by the industry. High level of politics for a small company.

      Pros

      Great work environment with nice perks such as no dress code. I'm able to learn a lot and they have invested in my development.

      Cons

      In order to be successful it will require long hours and dedication to the job. In a growth mode so at times you will be asked to juggle priorities.

      CivicPlus has a heart and a noble cause - we want to change the way citizens and governments interact! We have the motivation, skills, and passion to carry our mission forward. The people who work here genuinely want to help clients and fellow employees. The company cares about their people and tries to make things better when things are not working out the way they should - through merit/market increases, appreciation lunches, and social events. The culture of CivicPlus is like family. We have a team culture with high accountability expectations. The company invests significantly in employee development to cultivate professional growth for the employees. This company is best for people who are self-motivated and intrinsically motivated and get excited by new challenges on a continuing basis.

      Cons

      We are so great at generating ideas that we fail sometimes with execution and follow-through. We get caught up in the whirlwind of so many initiatives that we can't deliver with huge success on the key few. This isn't the place for someone who wants to sit back and just do a 9-to-5 and punch a clock. There are high expectations for both individuals and teams and sometimes will require long hours.
