      Bonuses are a joke

      Pros

      They used to be a great place to work for but over the years little by little people are being laid off, benefits are being taken away (who doesn't have bereavement leave?), and employees have become nothing but a number.

      Cons

      Every year since I've been here-over a decade, we've had a bonus which by the way they advertise as "pay for performance" however this year-3 weeks before we are supposed to get our bonus we get an email from CEO that states no bonuses because financial goals weren't reached. I understand if those responsible don't get bonuses, but what about those people who earned their bonuses through their performance. Nothing and no notice. And the response from management is "deal with it" and "it is what it is"

      They’ve forgotton that the employees are the people making their money.

      The people working with you are nice, caring, and bright.

      Cons

      They have cut all money for professional development for employees in the last year. The fast paced environment was sustainable up until the last year where they continue to constantly change direction and have no long term strategy. Senior management says they expect people to speak up but then don’t empower their staff to do it or punish them if they do. Many of the good leaders who fought for employees and benefits and treating employees as people have either been pushed out of left for other places.
