Not much I can think of at the moment. remote work is nice.

Cons

Working to dissolve US teams. No Raises or bonuses this year. Surprise layoffs, multiple per year. No warning, no head's up. No query around who should be let go. we lost some key contributors this time, without any rhyme or reason When others are let go, your workload doesn't change... but you get MORE work, with no changes to any business plans.

Work-life balance is fantastic. Generous time off. Work is pretty interesting and the tools we build have real impact.

Cons

Lack of direction and leadership - In 5 years, I've worked under 4 CEOs and witnessed 5 or 6 reorgs. Things change so fast that no one ever seems to have much idea what the priorities are or who's in charge. I've been working on a project for 6 months that doesn't work and no one really cares about anymore but no one is willing to pull the plug on. Also the US health insurance options are awful and expensive.
