Great Company/Low Pay

Business Outlook

Pros

Clarivate products are top notch and used globally in the pharmaceutical, legal, government and academic sectors. They have a competitive advantage and niche market with stable revenues and deep pockets--particularly in the intellectual property sector. Clarivate, in general, does a good job at trying to support and engage employees. Clarivate seeks to achieve 'greatness' and 'customer delight.'

Cons

Clarivate's executive suite's vision for the future is out of touch. Employee turnover is high because salaries are low. Employees do not have the resources to do their jobs effectively because institutional knowledge creates a drain on capabilities. Training new employees eats up the motivation and energy of senior employees. Low level employees have to get up to speed quickly without time to really learn their positions. Thus, they quickly become a burden and frustration on senior employees. If you are a fast learner, and aren't motivated by $$$, then Clarivate will meet your needs. It is a great company to start your career with. You will know when it is time to move on for greener pastures.
