Very inflexible, stagnant and toxic work environment ("let's just do it the way we have always done", "this is not a good time to think about development", sales staff conflicts not resolved by management, etc.). No clear career development options or support from management. No vision for the future. Company goals and values do not correspond to what's going on in reality. Product becomes more and more old-fashioned and is not updated/developed properly.

The company does not actively engage or value hard working, quality employees. Those who talk the loudest get the furthest, despite having a lack of competence, knowledge or any management skills. Of course, that doesn't reflect all management, but a higher than average ratio. The company is also in a state of transition, and feels very unstable. There was a great atmosphere and general positive feel to the company when I first joined Thomson Reuters. This has largely disappeared since becoming Clarivate and the rate of quality talent loss is pretty shocking. And finally, Clarivate is process heaven, and not in an efficient way. I still have a tic from when I tried to order a new notebook. I've learnt to buy my own stationery now.
