Pros

Good health benefits, 401K matching up to 4% (If you put in 5%... and can afford it) Great discount on shoes. 1 free pair every year.

Cons

Company has a 'shared vision' that is nothing more than blaming store managers for running the company into the ground resulting in the retail team having store managers and below receive 15% pay cuts. You can get your 15% back each month IF you hit a metric that the company makes up Also, Clarks won't tell you what it is until a few days before the new month starts... so they can literally make the number whatever they want. New hires are paid on the low end of the Mercer scale for 'similar' companies, yet Clarks expects current managers to hire, train, and recruit the best quality people. There is no way to hire the best people if we are not competitive, especially when other companies don't have such ridiculous expectations. Unless you are a big fan of brown nosing and office politics don't ever expect to get promoted past store manager.

Pros

- Holidays and Days Off. - Weekly Pay - That’s about it. I can’t make up any other positive benefits.

Cons

- Below average pay for industry - Corporate Recruiter and Manager both lied about what the job was. The team sells a dream that doesn’t exist. - Incompetent leadership. Terrible senior leadership. - Revolving door. No communication within the team and leader of team didn’t know how to treat people or lead a team. - Don’t listen to what they say....the tides are not turning. Sales will never be where they need to be to see a decent raise or bonus. This year’s raises were 2 percent max. - Released many pensioned employees or forced them into retirement since they were doing away with pensions. They don’t know how to treat their employees with respect. Not the company it once was or will ever be.

Pros

1 free shoe...that's it I honestly have nothing else to say that's good about this company any longer it's the unfortunate truth

Cons

The company has changed so much that they use to focus about caring about employees now they are trying to save their own butts by cutting ALL employees pay by 15%+ how do you expect your employees to live when you cut back their entire pay! Company doesn't care any longer and your told to perform better and increase sales for hours and wages being cut
