Pros

Good benefits Fun people Office is nice clean and organized Company provides coffee and popcorn which is good Managers and higher managers are mostly good to work for.

Cons

Some high managers are petty and childish HR is not very easy to deal with Most of us don’t know who to go to with problems and HR is not always in or available to talk to and we only see them on payday with candy they keep to themselves and don’t talk much to others Office is very cold all the time Pay is not that great Raises are either none or very small A lot of people quitting all the time

Pros

Ethical company and top leadership to provide services to customer and it is a regulated practice with oversight from the FCC. Many customers are grateful using the caption telephone devices to maintain their independence and confidence by connecting with other people that they love and interact with. White glove customer service all around to make sure they are always connected and in communication.

Cons

They can improve on providing flexible and better attainable goals for the Territory Managers in each territory across because there are none two alike. Too many regional management changes, no local support for coaching time which causes lack of confidence in the company, high pressured unattainable goals, and dated product that doesn't interest the general public and still pressured to keep on with the pace. The culture is not the Richard Branson philosophy "Train people well enough so they can leave, treat them well enough so they don't want to." They do train and then they leave, and they are not keeping them very long, sad. That can change. They spend tons of money training new hires and unfortunately the trend shows that those new hires do not last more than a year on average. Very few are still in the company in their 1st year and select few in their 3rd year and beyond. This applies only Territory Managers. I personally believe at the corporate office the turn over rate is much lower and have attainable goals that are set and people are happy.

Pros

The people I get to meet on a daily basis is the reason I have stayed at this company so far. I am privileged to be welcomed into their homes and private lives in a way I never would have known them.

Cons

Let me count the ways. Started as a small startup with enthusiasm and I felt a belief there was a need being met for the hard of hearing people. The company has harmed probably more people than helped due to the complete inconsistency of working captions and technology. The seniors in need are really unable to use the telephone due to its difficult touch screen technology. There is only ONE PRODUCT after all these years. Company actually announced they diverted funds budgeted for product development to hire newly created positions of COO and East/West Division Managers. COMMISSIONS are always taken back after 3 month review of whether customer is using phone on internet connection or not. Customers pass away, move away, lose internet connections and sales commission is taken back! How DEMOTIVATING! You expect $1500 and get$200 due to clawbacks and this happens month over month. Sales spend many nights, weekends in addition to all day running events, installing new clients and trying to reconnect previous clients so not to lose the commission. Typical week is 80 plus hours and the kicker is they just took away our mileage reimbursement so what little commission is given is spent on gas and oil changes and new tires because we drive our cars to the ground. The new COO Corinne has created hostile environment.
