Pros

Since they've purchased is from AK Steel, it's been a nice change. AK was a very bad company doing a lot of bad things!

Cons

It seems too soon to tell. While they are focused on making money and production, I'm not sure if they're focused on balancing the equation with keeping their employees satisfied.

Pros

- Rating highlights for Cleveland works/ArcelorMittal Cleveland are accurate - Most people are really nice including managers - If you only want to make money and don't care about other things - go for it - You have your own office but be prepared that offices in a steel plant are not the same as other manufacturing plants

Cons

- Family members are allowed to be in the same department - be alerted - I didn't know who I reported to though I knew who my hiring manager was. You wouldn't see your manager very often because of the set up of the steel plant. -This gave the chance of the lady, my trainer to manipulate me all the time because she was recently hired as caster mill planner from this temp to hire position. She's been always anxious, crazy and yelling a lot. I could tell that she had never worked in a large organization and doesn't know what she should do and what shouldn't. But she thinks she's smart. If she's not related to a key planner I don't really see she could get a chance to be even a temp based on her skills - entry level excel which is the only tool for planner to schedule and plan for production. I should be fair to her other skills - willing to spend many more hours to figure out how to do her job and brown nosing. - If you don't mind an anxious low quality woman to train/manage you on OSP processing or to be your partner working at caster mill I encourage you to apply for the job because most people are really nice. I quit because most of the time I can ignore her craziness but when I had to work my butt off and she was there yelling there's not way to tolerate the pain. OSP coordinator might be the only job she's able to do. Time will tell. - Good luck if you have to deal with her
