Your peer consultants are the best part of the job, but if you get a bad manager, you're pretty screwed. A lot of the Seniors and Managers are really full of themselves and often only a couple years older than the Consultants, so they seem to feel the need to exercise their power a lot more than necessary. If they don't love you, your merit and worth means nothing because everyone is so immature that you'll get mid/bad reviews if someone decides you aren't their favorite person.

Once R1 took over, they began to take away holidays and time, they added new rules that hurt the employees in the end, and it became uncomfortable to even be at work. Sometimes it seemed like the blind leading the blind.
