Pros

* Almost everyone you work with is very nice, social etc. * Work life balance is strong, although the longevity of this perk is in question with the increased pressure for increased revenue by management. * Great starting work for a career in healthcare, particularly on the RCM side * Exit opportunities are good. Strong brand name in the healthcare world. Plenty of people exit to big 4 consulting too or go to grad school. * Use SQL regularly (pro if that is something you want to do)

Cons

* Management has not handled the WFH and merger of Triage into Cloudmed well. Management is very slow to implement obvious needed changes. * Work is very mundane and cookie cutter. * There's always more work to do. Little incentive to put extra work in. * Not a "user friendly" experience at work. Always have data and client access issues. Often have to call foreign insurance reps and wait on hold for 30+ minutes. * The fun and engaging culture that Triage had pre merger is gone. Cloudmed has struggled mightily to have any culture virtually. * Unclear future. Cloudmed and Triage are still adjusting from the merger a year out. Unclear long term goals from the PE firm. * Steep learning curve but after ~12 months there is not much to learn. * Individual experiences vary greatly depending on projects and senior consultants/managers

Pros

The people you work with are really intelligent and go on to do great things. Your projects and therefore your work-life balance really depend on your project lead (Senior Associate) and Manager. Those are really make it or break it experiences when it comes to evaluations.

Cons

As Triage Consulting Group (before Cloudmed), there was rigid internal structure which meant promotion only from within which came with a lot of cronyism. Racism also went unaddressed. Having an ERG for Blacks/Latinxs was seen as divisive so it went ignored until an email went out from a Black male who did not receive a promotion in comparison to similarly-performing peers and urged people of color to "GET OUT". Only after that did administration accept that the underlying racism in the workplace needed to be addressed.

Terrible company

Pros

Getting a paycheck and working remote

Cons

Management must be working overtime posting fake reviews! Do not believe the 5 star reviews. Pathetic and childish! They know all the job titles and location of the remote employees and post fake reviews. Anyone intelligent enough can distinguish the fake ratings. After an honest review, 30- 5 stars fake ones will amazingly appear. Company used to be decent before the merger with R1. No opportunities for development and moving up. Job gets boring after the 1st year. Current management seem focused only on how much staff is bringing in. Power hungry and click-ish managers who pretend they are your friend and care about you as an employee, then stab you in the back. The manager's favorites are the ones recommended for promotion. The rest of the interviews are just for the show. Constantly changing metrics and productivity standards. Software crashes so often while is presented as "cutting edge technology" during sale pitches to clients. Meaningless weekly feedback requested as if it matters or if anything from feedback will be taken in consideration. PTO transitioned to FTO with no payout and if you are one of the manager's favorites, you may get approved. Management is obsessed with company's profits over quality and constantly in meetings to find ways of putting a heavier workload on employees. Morale has been terrible since the merger. Jobs are being outsourced overseas. No domestic new hiring for the last two financial quarters. CEO is out of touch. Company is too top-heavy. If you care about the quality of your work, do not work here. You will not get any recognition for any new ideas or ways to improve work processes. Work anywhere else but here.
