Pros

Good PTO and benefits, currently flexible with in-office and remote work opportunities

Cons

The RSG department was incredibly understaffed with the remaining employees having to assume the work of those who had left. While management was making efforts to hire new team members, the responsibility of training the new hires during the rapid hiring process fell on the shoulders of just a few people. The workload had drastically increased but requests for additional compensation were swiftly denied with no discussion. As management sets new performance goals for the team, successes were met with management raising the bar, while failure to meet new goals resulted in a lot of questioning as to ‘how we could be doing more’. Promotion was solely based on tenure which resulted in people being promoted to training positions that have no interest in teaching others and people being promoted to senior level positions that were not a good fit for managerial roles. But they take these promotions because they are the only way to a pay raise (as salary is non negotiable and pay schedule is incredibly structured)

Pros

You can work remotely if you want

Cons

Tons of pseudo promotions at the expense of other staff members. The company is so executive heavy it has no one to do the actual work Plus they bully you into completing optional surveys just to get a higher PG score. The financials are all a guess so they get bought out by a private equity firm

Pros

The only real pro is the remote work environment

Cons

Everything is really a con. If the company wasn’t mostly remote they probably would not be able to keep anyone. The organization is literally like a circus. It’s very unorganized, always technical issues, there will always be a push to do more work with the same amount of pay, speaking of the pay- it’s pretty low compared to other companies. I’m so happy I got away and I’ve been debating for weeks on whether I would write a review until I spoke with someone that still works there and they told me they are still miserable and waiting on their chance to get out. After the R1 merger things really went downhill. As many have stated, all of the 5 star reviews are “fake” most likely posted by management. R1 took away some of the holidays and reduced the PTO so there goes the work/life balance. You really can’t afford to miss time unless you’re sick because you’re always afraid an emergency will happen and you won’t have pto available. The work isn’t hard but like most companies, the people(management) make it hard. I would suggest only accepting the position if you have a plan to get out within 3-6 months
