Pros
Annual Bonus, Remote Work, and the Pay
Cons
You can really tell that many fake reviews are written here (sad). My direct team was great and had really hard workers who felt like they were on an island alone with no help prior to my arrival. Leadership in my department was very strange and in no way genuine. Extremely cliquish, not diverse, and works like a small-minded mom and pop operation. I had a great leader for the first year and he transferred elsewhere, and then I was left in the cold. I as a manager was expected to manage the team and show daily productivity like my team. Ridiculous! I have never heard of this for a Manager in my field. The R1 merger made them even more paranoid, irrational, and disorganized in a panic. They honestly did not know what or how to deal with my role and it was a bad choice to come onboard from the beginning (quite a few red flags during the interview process). Senior leadership was very out of touch, accusatory, micromanaging and impersonal. Always last minute, unorganized, and urgent work. Never would address the MANY errors from other staff but picked on certain teams and people. They will point out EVERY single thing they “perceive” to be an issue or error without even asking for background or info, but will NEVER fix anything or put solutions in place. They move very rashly. My mental health has absolutely improved after resigning from this place. Only come here if you are fresh out of college and do now know any better.
