Thank you for sharing your experience and highlighting what you value about working at Co-op, such as our community focus, charity work, and flexibility for students. It's great to see that you are appreciative of the 30% colleague member discount we offer as well. We’d like to clarify one point: while managers are there to support and guide, completing tasks is a shared responsibility across the team. We rely on everyone to play their part in delivering great service for our customers and communities. Leaving tasks incomplete can impact colleagues and customers, so we encourage open communication and teamwork to make sure everything gets done. We also note your comments on pay and hours. Our pay structure is designed to be fair and consistent, and we regularly review it against industry standards. For hours, we aim to balance availability with demand, and we encourage colleagues to speak with their manager if they’re looking for more shifts. Thank you again for your feedback and review.

Thank you for sharing your review and comments about your lovely colleagues. With our home delivery partners, the allocation of hours is based on the items picked in the store. It is the responsibility of your manager to plan how these hours are used when the store is busy with online orders. If this planning is not done effectively, colleagues may feel the strain. Prioritisation needs to be carried out on a store-by-store basis, planning other tasks around busier periods. Talk to your manager to understand how your store hours have been allocated or for anything to do with Q-Commerce, your manager can find out more through your local online performance lead. If they're not sure who this is, they can find out more details on How Do I or discuss with their operations manager.
