Pros

everyone is on equal pay at team leader and ctm level

Cons

Cutting staff out of the stores to open up new stores, but expect the same amount of work done with: if not half the staff as before. Time frame for getting jobs done is almost impossible, some jobs the store doesn't need so could do with cutting them out

Pros

One of the better retail employers when it comes to contracts. You will never get a contract that is any less than 12 hours a week.

Cons

The coop is a company that is a fast paced environment, that demands first class customer service but is not given the time or staff hours to be able to carry this out. Everyday there is at least one unhappy customer because of an item being removed from the shelves because they are to stop stocking it, even though it may be one of the most popular items for customers to buy. Half the time you are not given the sufficient training or functional tools to be able to carry out the work asked of you. From computers to fridges and freezers they are constantly breaking down, meaning there is a lot of wasted items, costing the group thousands of pounds every month. And yet they still refuse to replace them with new quality equipment that should last for years to come. And there is no opportunity to advance yourself in the business.
