Pros

Rewards performance Great if you don't care about WFH SWE teams have high autonomy Clean codebase (depending on which project you're on) Good benefits No pressure to do overtime Great work life balance

Cons

Hemorrhaging talent due to lack of WFH flexibility Many of the top employees are leaving for better opportunities at places with more competitive pay, PTO, and WFH options CEO seems to not take others' opinions into consideration and is old-school and really stubborn about WFH Don't be fooled by the free food: it sucks

Pros

Decent base pay, solid 401K, good benefits, cool perks, few managers are cool and helpful.

Cons

Moving up in the company seems to be 100% relationship based & not performance based at all. Very high turn over due to more problems than I can count, Very repetitive making 80 cold calls a day just to keep your job. Upper management needs to stop screwing over the little guys in order to make sure their big guys only get bigger. Most unorganized company due to desire for rapid growth, Hard to balance your life without extreme stress and pressure to always be in office

Pros

If you need to get experience in the tech field, it would be good for that. But you will want to get in, get that experience, then get out. A lot of effort going into diversity which is great. Many great webinars have been offered in this area as well. Recently started a mentoring program. It's nice having healthy snacks in the lunchroom.

Cons

Product Development and IT is chaotic. People often say there are too many cooks in the kitchen. Projects are not thought through clearly but you have to meet those sprint deadlines! Very reactive. Constantly putting out fires. Stabilize what's out there before moving to the next new feature. "We'll fix it next sprint" isn't the way to do things. When you encounter another person and you ask how it's going, you exchange the same look that says, "this place is a mess, I'm just trying to stay sane". People are promoted to management positions who have no business managing. Several key people have left recently, and I suspect there will be more in the not too distant future. That should make you really wonder. When someone leaves before their generous stock options have vested, that should also make you wonder. That happened too. As someone else stated, Andy is real petty when it comes to a competitor going out of business. He sends almost a mocking email to the entire company about it. He hasn't done that in a while so maybe he realized that was not in good taste. A lot of pressure being put on employees to return to office after getting vaccine. I don't care how they try to twist it, Andy does not support telecommuting. I'm sure he lost sleep over us all going to WFH last year. Well guess what, we all proved we could do it didn't we? You had no faith and we proved you wrong. We've all been very productive at home. There is no reason to not embrace a more flexible work environment. You will have happier employees. Force us back 100% and you will lose people. You will also face competition trying to hire people and not offering some kind of flexibility other companies offer. I've heard they try to figure out who are writing the negative reviews on Glassdoor. And yes, you have to pay to park. Unbelievable. I'm not going to specify my real location except to say Southern California.
