      More Fun than a Shot in the Eye

      Pros

      Always Hiring. Easy 'in' to the healthcare industry. Clinical experience.

      Cons

      Acting president, Dr. Kimura, treats those closest to him poorly, but what's worse is the negativity spreads throughout. Lenient towards harassment. Low pay. High turnover rate. Office culture. Service industry scheduling including last minute changes (last as in you're the last to know about it). Multiple locations, and policy that you travel to at least 2 offices but get ready to commute all over the greater Denver area if you plan to put down roots.

      Pros

      CRA really cares about their employees and provides assistance in many forms to those who may be struggling for various reasons. I was without a vehicle for over a month and they worked with me on scheduling so I didn't have to spend my entire day on the city bus just to get to and from work. Their personal time off policy is amazing, with almost 18 paid days off in addition to the 7 paid government holidays you receive. That's more than 3 weeks off in your first year of employment! CRA is also phenomenal about promoting from within. That tells me they believe in their employees enough to invest in them and provide paths to successful futures. And finally, the benefits package is very affordable and suits all of my healthcare needs. Overall a wonderful place to work.

      Of course, everyone that I know would like more money, but CRAs wages are very competitive in today's market.

      Pros

      None whatsoever , terrible first impression of the company.

      Cons

      The interviewer was so negative and kept insulting me by saying I was not a certified biller implying I was not qualified enough when she was not even in charge of the billing dept , she was interviewing me for a front desk position, I told her I was done with the interview after telling her it’s not right not talk to people that way and be rude she then proceeded to tell me to leave I guess she didn’t like hearing the truth.
