Pros

* I sat here for 10 minutes and couldn't think of any

Cons

* Everything * Benefits are expensive, and the "Alex" app for selecting them is contrived, annoying, and takes way too long just to see how much more expensive benefits got this year * Executive team is probably the worst I've ever seen * Management ignores employee needs (and remember: this was on the corporate level, not just a CSR in the store) * I worked for a company that was an acquisition; it was more like a hostile takeover. I have never seen so many people pressured to resign in my life, and I have never seen so much shady business going on from the executive level from anywhere I have worked before.

Pros

It's a paycheck. That's all. Sad but true!

Cons

No appreciation regardless of how you perform. The individuals in stores make the money and we're treated like garbage. Please make sure you read that again Kyle. WE IN THE FIELD MAKE YOU THE MONEY!!! Do this, do that, well we do it and still get told to do better as nothing is ever good enough. This CEO, Kyle, doesn't appreciate the ones making the company money. Continue with your scare tactics and threats from you all the way from upper management to the bottom of firing everyone. Everyone is replaceable but so are you! Reevaluate how to treat people!! Show just a little decency. If you fire everyone in the field, how are you going to get money. Maybe we should just walk out on you. If everyone in stores did, where would you be? How would you and your company get money? That's right, you'd have to file bankruptcy and close all the doors. Maybe the board needs to look for a new CEO. These reviews aren't all from former disgruntled employees, we ARE YOUR CURRENT EMPLOYEES! Open your eyes and start treating us better. After all, if it wasn't for us, who would you be? You have to have thousands of employees to put money in your pockets. Without us, you'd go broke!

Pros

Pros (Prior to Community Choice Financial Acquisition): • TitleMax was an excellent employer for many years. • Offered great hours, strong benefits, and multiple bonus opportunities. • Employees were incentivized through a performance-based bonus system, which included: • Percentage of store profit (profit sharing). • Percentage of loan production generated. • The bonus system motivated employees to work hard, grow the store, and increase profitability. • High-performing employees could earn significantly more than base pay — bonuses often made the job financially worthwhile. • Created a culture of ownership, drive, and accountability.

Cons

Cons (After Community Choice Financial Acquisition in Late 2023): • Transparency has disappeared — important changes are not communicated clearly or in advance. • Profit-sharing and loan production bonuses have been removed or drastically cut. • The company now offers only a low hourly wage, with little incentive to exceed expectations. • Employees have suffered massive pay cuts (e.g., from $100K/year to $60K/year). • Morale has dropped, as staff feel their hard work no longer matters. • Legacy employees are quitting, unwilling to accept 30–40% pay reductions. • Last-minute changes to pay and bonus calculations create confusion and mistrust. • Employees are now more likely to do the bare minimum, due to lack of reward for extra effort. • The shift has created a culture of disengagement and frustration
