It's a good ol' boys culture, run by novices. In fairness, the culture comes down from Corporate. They do not invest in employees including middle management which causes a lot of smart people to bolt for the door. Very high turnover rate... The first alarm went off when no one could answer a question at New Employee Orientation because they were all brand new. Profit and numbers are ahead of everything. It's a negative reinforcement system with frequent reminders of things to be written up for. You can survive here but why would you want to?

You are a number. Accept it. Deal with it. Do not expect to understand why executives do the things they do. Politics, like in any big corporation, are rampant at all levels. There is a lot of dead weight in the middle management tiers that should probably be gutted. Death by process is common in certain areas and micro-management by certain C level executives(CIO) is pretty bad.
