Pros

management allowed for creativity and innovation. Management and leadership teams encourage and empower employees to be honest in problem solving.

Cons

Not enough money for the responsibilities. That also is just the state of affairs when working in behavioral health.

"CSG, JUST GETTING BY"

Pros

Great paid time off and benefits. The clients are great and you will learn something from them everyday.

Cons

If you are working as a supervisor or DSP it can be very stressful, due to lack of staffing. There is not enough people working and the people who choose to pick up hours are over work and underpaid. You will find in most of the homes 1 person working, when there should be 2-3 people working. The schedules are unrealistic with people working 24 hrs. shift. If you are a supervisor you are expected to manage people with sometime severe behavior problems, as well as staff. You are also expected to be on call, which consist of dealing with emergencies for 50 homes. You do get compensated $20 a day because that is what your time is worth. You will also sit in useless meetings to discuss all the problems and ways not to fix them. If you are expecting a raise it will never happen, there are no raises and the last one was 5 years ago.
