Pros

The clients we provide servies to. To watch them grow and develop is a sight to behold. I have had several clients come through my home, and know many others, they are true jewels, and deserve better than the garbage this company is putting them through.

Cons

CSg is a for profit company. For Susan Blue's profit. She is beholden to the almighty dollar. If the state new how this company is run at the residental levels, they would shutter the whole company. Clients in homes are now alloted 36.00 per week for food. How can you feed a client 21 meals a week on that? They hire some of the most incompetent people I have ever seen. Our program director is useless. She offers no leadership or guidence to her APD's who then cannot lead the rest of us.

Pros

Taking care of the residents is the most rewarding experience.

Cons

There are no supplies for weeks at a time. Food for the residents is a constant search and find. Sometimes there is not enough for seconds if residents want them. The rules imposed on residents in residential home are like jailhouse rules, no smoking after 9pm, no food or drink in rooms, no way to vent grievances. The employees are not valued whatsoever. They send emails out letting you know that due to them not having a lot of money they will be taking a day of employees PTO back to offset the cost. Also if you want to take the time that you ACCRUED, there is zero to no chance of that happening. If you don't use all the PTO that you have it gets rolled over into sick time and THEN you can't use that unless you are out sick for three or more days straight. If you call out due to an injury or emergency and have a note to back it up you get written up. Any statements you make about things that need fixing, resident complaints, or things you have noticed that residents may need are not taken into consideration. Certain employees can be out to get a new employees and have them get fired, and no one takes those complaints seriously. The upper management has no idea how to hire reliable employees. Overall, I wouldn't recommend working with this company unless you want to be extrememly underappreciated and overly worked.
