Pros

Health benefits included were good after corporate takeover.

Cons

All of the corporate nonsense that comes along with a buy out. Bad pay, terrible scheduling, and sub par treatment of employees,

Pros

Free lunches from sales people. (Some) Nice coworkers. Decent PTO plan.

Cons

So much drama at the location I worked at, management only cares about protecting themselves and their bottom line. You get a cost of living expense raise every year, 1-3% of your hourly rate, this being around 0.30$ usually. They are always short staffed, so while you get plenty of PTO good luck using it, unless you request off a year in advance. They don't have a real training program and you have to seek out the trainers to ask to learn something, and until they've seen you do it 100 times you aren't allowed to perform it alone. High turnover rate but they're unable to hire new staff so the situation only gets worse.

Pros

It’s sad that I have been sitting here for almost an hour trying to think of something nice to say. I’m grateful that I have a job with benefits and PTO, but I had those things before CVP came barreling in. I guess it’s nice that they haven’t taken anything away from me. Oh wait!...

Cons

No more Christmas bonus, no more free office visits. No more family, no more respect and sadly no more trust. All of the things that made for a great place to work have all up and vanished like a fart in the wind. Don’t bother striving to be your best everyday. You are there to make them money first and foremost. Hard work and quality patient care now take a backseat to profit. You have become a nameless, faceless part of a machine; a machine being held together with duct tape. You are merely a means to an end and that end is more money. Do me a favor...if you haven’t read the previous raving reviews, read them now. If you have read them, read them again. Nowhere in that mindless chatter do they ever mention patient care. Maybe I don’t belong here because that is my sole concern.

We appreciate you taking the time to provide us with your thoughts and we value your feedback. The care you and your colleagues provide is important to our patients and their families, and to us. It is our goal to enable each of our hospitals to provide quality care to even more patients, and we couldn’t do that without you. We would like to personally address some of your concerns, including the change in timing for the incentive payout and the reduction in coverage for office visits. Please feel free to reach out to our HR team who can address your concerns at 215-302-4000.
